The “39th EORTC-PAMM Winter Meeting” will take place in Rome from February 7th-10th, 2018.
The PAMM Meeting is the ideal setting to discuss how new treatment strategies can be studied in the most complete way in preclinical models and then move forward to give the best chances to patients.
There will be a specific session on (1) tumor epigenetic and how it interferes with the natural history of tumors, identification of new targets, and drug development; (2) the impact of understanding the pharmacology of novel anticancer agents to optmize therapeutic indexes; (3) novel clinical methodologies and biomaker approaches that influence early phase drug-development studies. besides spaces for new targets–new agents, for pharmacology and for early clinical studies.
Disease-oriented sessions allowing mixing together the views from basic scientists and clinicians will be focusing on aggressive breast cancers (“triple negative”, but not only), primary brain tumors, as well as pediatric and rare tumors.
As usual, one session will be dedicated to presentations by young researchers and PAMM is encouraging young physicians and scientists to become part of the PAMM community by presenting original data.
Based on prior successful experiences, we will continue this year to dedicate oral sessions for biotech companies and Pharma’s that may want to present their translational research data at PAMM.
We look forward to meeting you in Rome to give life to a lively meeting, in the PAMM spirit!
